5 out of 5 stars My FF cat has ALWAYS preferred this   August 22, 2010

My Fancy Feast cat has always loved the classic best! He can be anywhere and all I have to do is yell "FANCY FEAST" ...he is at his bowl in a flash. Perhaps he knows his pic is on the can :) Anyway I tell him it is...the resemblance is close. I've tried the grill and the shredded stuff. It is apparently not as yummy because my "Feather" (white fur-ball of a cat) picks at those versions. Feather is going on 14 yrs of age so it must be healthy.

Fancy Feast Gourmet Seafood variety pack
My kitties love FF Classics since they came on the market. A few times I tried another style, like flaked or grilled - no change they'd eat them. Also the medley kind are not appreciated.
But don't think that they're finicky...

Very good price with the 15% discount for Subscribe and Save.

I paid for 2-3 day delivery. The item is now scheduled for 5 day delivery. If I had agreed to five day delivery, I would not have been charged shipping. I have been charged for 2-3 day delivery and received 5 day service.

1 out of 5 stars Junk Food   July 8, 2010

I was feeding our cat 2 cans a day of Fancy Feast for six months. No snacks or treats or other food. She's very active and gained 1 and 1/2 pounds in that time. After speaking with our vet who was concerned about the weight gain she referred to Fancy Feast as the McDonalds of cat food. Junk food essentially. High in calories and fat. Sure your cat loves it.. but would you feed you kids McDonalds every day just because they like it? Find something better. Wellness, EVO, Avoderm, Purina Pro or Royal Canin are all better for your pet.
