| Customer Reviews: Great food. My GSD loves it February 9, 2010 Wildcat (USA) After feeding other (cheaper) brands for years and seeing my GSD's health take a turn I decided to switch to a different product.......Blue Buffalo. Now I've been using this for 2 years and would not think twice about recommending it. Great product. Also great price when buying through Amazon. Only complaint I have is that the shipping from the seller (Petco) was extremely slow which I was not happy about especially as this was an in stock item.

br /Great food, certainly should try your pet on this.
premium food, human grade ingredients, unique manufacturing process January 24, 2009 N. Ferguson (Ohio) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
My two goldens approve of this product. Blue Buffalo uses top of the line ingredients, human food grade-- there's a chicken version and a fish version. No yucky meat "by-products", meat and meat meals are the top ingredients, no indigestible corn or wheat, a wide variety of wholesome and varied vegetable ingredients and several probiotics to promote healthy digestion and absorption of nutrients. On top of that, this is a very palatable food.
br /
br /Blue Buffalo also uses a unique process to manufacture "lifebits" which are added to the basic "kibble" food. These smaller, darker pieces are cold formed in order to better maintain nutrients. I don't believe any other company incorporates this kind of element into dog food.
br /
br /I respect what they are doing, and I've changed to Blue Buffalo food for my cat, too.

Not bad, but... September 15, 2008 La Piccola (Boston MA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I've been feeding Blue Buffalo and we like it OK. I mix it with a 1/3 raw, grounded meaty bones because the grain content is a little too high for my taste.
br /
br /I was feeding Orijen for awhile but my finicky eaters decided they liked this combination better. So 4 stars from my pack.
healthy ingredients! August 5, 2008 daniel farley (DC, USA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
after going to a local "healthy" pet store and being educated on what are 'good' pet foods and 'bad' pet foods and why (like having the first few ingredients be grains, as an example of 'bad'), we found this at petsmart. it's a decent price for a food with the 'right' kind of ingredients. even those foods like 'science diet' give a bunch of crap to your dog!
br /
br /our rottie/pit also has a sensitive stomach. and we tried a few other 'healthy' foods (like 'canidae') that his system didn't seem to agree with. so it was back to the blue buffalo. and we've used it ever since.
