For juicy burgers and veggie kabobs at home or at the lake, industry leader Weber offers their portable Q-100 gas grill. The propane grill employs an 8,500-BTU stainless-steel burner to heat its 189-square-inch cooking area. Weber crafted the grill's lid and body in tough cast aluminum with a sturdy glass-reinforced nylon frame. The grill ignites at the push of a button for reliable lighting, and an infinitely adjustable burner valve with a high-quality regulator makes it easy to control the heat. Meat sizzles on the porcelain-enameled cast-iron cooking grates, while drippings follow the drip ducts to reduce potential flare-ups and enable quicker cleaning. Other highlights include a flavorizer system integrated into the cooking grate, a removable catch pan, and a large weather-resistant lid handle. The grill operates on a standard 14.1- or 16.4-ounce propane cylinder. Propane does not come included, but Weber does enclose a Weber Q cookbook of recipes and inspiration. When unpacking this little gem, don't panic, as I did, if you suddenly think someone forgot to include the cooking grate. It is under a piece of cardboard in the very bottom of the box. Assembly is minimal - fasten the handle, insert the lid's hinge pins and set the cooking grate in place - done.
Rather than using a small gas tank that would screw right onto the grill, I chose to use a large tank connected via hose to the grill. Moving the grill from garage to patio while attached to a large tank can be done safely and easily by removing the cooking grate, lifting the grill by it's left handle with one hand and grabbing the tank in the other.
Cleaning: A stiff bristle brush for the cooking grate is a must. A cloth does a fine job on the grill's interior and lining the drip pan with aluminum foil eliminates cleaning there.
I have found the Q100 to be a well thought out, easy to use, durable design which may well prove to be the last gas grill I ever buy, unless I find myself repeatedly cooking for LARGE crowds. (That's not going to happen.)
All in all, this product appears to be of lasting quality. I would not hesitate to recommend it to a friend.

I'll never buy a large grill on a stand ever again. The Weber Q100 is portable so I can take in inside the shed or garage out of the weather after every use. It's made out of cast aluminum and the grid is cast iron. Very easy to clean and nothing to rust away over a period of time. I will be using this grill for many, many years to come.

I purchased this product a few months ago and LOVE IT. I have found there are no hot spots that cook the meet faster in certain places. It is small enough that I can carry it in and out of our Florida room for easy storage. The ignition switch works on the first click unlike other grills. I can fit 6 burgers on the grate, 8 if I squeeze them in and they are all done at the same time. It's perfect for a smaller family of 2 or 3 people. Very easy to assemble. I also like that I can purchase equipment at a later time to make it like a standard grill like the rolling cart.
