| Customer Reviews: Like warm coffee? March 6, 2010 Christine Giantsos 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Just recently my Farberware electric peculator broke down. It made really hot coffee that rated an 8 in terms of taste. Although I was happy with it, I decided to look for another pot that made hot coffee that rated a 10. No chance. I researched the reviews for two weeks and came up with this pot. The coffee taste rates a 9 but unless you like luke warm coffee forget it. It's the first time I've had to nuke coffee that's how cool it came out of the pot. I might add that after nuking it, it was drinkable and didn't loose much of it's great taste but who needs to nuke their coffee after paying for a coffee pot to do the work for them. I am a very detail oriented type of person so don't think I didn't do right by this coffee pot, I did. I made sure the water was the right temp. going into the pot and I boiled water to put into the carafe so it was snuggy warm before brewing. Yet the coffee was just warm. Very disappointed. Returning to Bed Bath and Beyond.
Not Happy March 6, 2010 Mommy (NJ) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this $130 machine a week ago and my $30 maker was better. It doesn't keep your coffee hot for very long being it is a carafe style pot. I have had to reheat after 1/2 hour. The coffee grinder does make course grounds and not strong (there is no strength button). Yes it automatically turns off but that is because of the carafe. If you decide to use ground coffee you still have to take apart the whole bean compartment after making a pot because it will rust/mildew from the moisture trapped inside the container.

Best under $100 COFFEE POT February 27, 2010 Arthur S. Ratcliffe (Phoenix AZ) After the rebate, this is the best one touch once programmed coffee maker for the money. It grinds the beans and brews quick and keeps the coffe hot for hours. A great deal.
Grind Brew February 23, 2010 Susan Smith (Lebanon, PA) I purchased this to replace my Cooks Essential Grind Brew coffee maker which I had for many many years. I am happy with this product, although I wish it didn't have so many parts to clean. But other that that, it makes a good cup of coffee. It took me a long time to purchase a new pot, but I would highly recommend this one. And buying it through Amazon made it very easy.
Love it! February 17, 2010 Deb (Grand Junction, CO) My husband and I love fresh ground coffee and this coffee maker definitely fits the bill. Makes a fantastic pot of coffee with Starbucks French Roast beans. We've only used it a week so far, but it seems to be very easy to clean. We originally bought the DGB-600BC model at Lowe's, but while checking it out online and looking for a better price, I noticed this improved model that actually received much better reviews as far as ease of cleaning. The better price didn't hurt either! So the other went back to Lowe's and I ordered this one and couldn't be more pleased.
