We are so pleased with this coffee maker! Brews excellent coffee, it's easy to clean and no more worries about breaking the glass carafe. Coffee is kept warm longer than in the carafe, and it does not taste "old" later on. Only thing we miss when compared to our former Mr. Coffee is the "coffee-ready alarm". Hopefully, it will last a long time.

We had to replace our old coffee maker for a combination of reasons, and the wife wanted on that did not have an external carafe. I was very pleased when this arrived in about 36 hours (thanks, Prime)and we set it up for first use. The clock and timer functions were simple, the display was easy to read, and except for misjudging how much coffee to use for a full water-load, it worked beautifully. For the second pot we reduced the coffee by about 40%. We use large mugs, and they easily fit into the recess for pouring.
Workmanship is excellent, no hint of leaks, and the internal carafe keeps the coffee hot. The 2 removable pieces, the coffee holder and the internal carafe, are easily removed and cleaned.
Personally, I would have preferred if there was an external indicator, like a guage, of how much water is present before brewing. The internal carafe has indicators to measure water before you put it in the holding tank, but seeing the markings on black plastic is tough. We use a water jug with lines on it to measure full or half pots.

I love this coffee maker model so much I bought a second one! (lol) actually we were gone on vacation for a while and when we returned we discovered something had moved into out old coffee maker (same model) so I had to toss it out and bought the exact same model, seriously it's great though best one I have had in quite some time. no complaints
